We had an amazing experience with Abyss Diving Center and especially our dive guide, Luigi! My friend and I got to explore a shipwreck and dive through a cave, which was an unforgettable experience. Luigi was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and reassuring throughout the entire dive, and we felt very well taken care of from start to finish.

The whole team made us feel safe and comfortable, while still making the experience exciting and adventurous. We couldn’t have asked for a better diving experience and are so happy we chose Abyss Diving Center.

I’ve got nothing but good things to say. Super professional, super friendly and a local knowledge expert! I cant recommend Luigi enough. Over the two dives and refresher we did, he made the entire  experience enjoyable, relaxing and memorable. He even paid special attention to my wife as she hadn’t been diving in several years, making her feel extremely comfortable.

He picked us up from our hotel on time  and dropped us back afterwards as planned, making life super easy.

Viz was great and the amount of sea life for the Mediterranean was really good!

On top of the great diving, we also got a mini tour of Malta and stopped off at Popeyes Theme Park on the way. We couldn’t happier!

Vraiment une super expérience ! J’ai fait 5 plongées avec Luigi. Je voulais découvrir des épaves et il m’a proposé le Rozi, le P29 et l’Um El Faroud. Tout était parfait !
Prise en charge et retour à mon hôtel, petits groupes de 2 à 4 personnes maximum, et surtout Luigi est super sympa, professionnel et s’adapte bien à notre niveau.

Great Dives in St. Paul Bay
Diving with Luigi (Abyss Diving) was an incredible experience! His attention to detail, level of knowledge and understanding of the dive sites were top notch! Diving with Luigi not only offered amazing under water habitats but I’m a better diver from his instruction and care. Amazing Dives!
I just finished a 6-dive package with Abyss Dive. Diving with Luigi has been a ten out of ten experience. The chosen sites were perfect and my preferences were even listened to. He is a host with an easygoing and approachable manner. It is clear that he has great experience diving on the island; he knows the tricks for parking near the access points, making the shore entries as short as possible. Furthermore, as a dive guide he is impeccable, taking us through the best spots and conveying a lot of safety at all times. Without a doubt, if I return to the island, I will repeat with him. Diving with Luigi is the best!
I can really only recommend Luigi as a diving instructor! He explains everything super clearly, is incredibly friendly, patient, and manages to make you feel comfortable diving from the very first moment. Diving with him was just incredibly fun and was definitely my highlight in Malta! Luigi was also great outside of diving. He told us quite a bit about the island during the trips and also showed us things. While diving, he also took really great photos of us, so we now also have wonderful memories of our first dives. Luigi is an expert guide. He led the dives with care and attention. He is competent, respectful of safety procedures, and good at managing the group, even of different nationalities and with different experience. Diving with Luigi was an absolutely wonderful experience. I was really excited at the beginning, but also quite nervous and a bit panicky once we got into the water. However, Luigi stayed calm and patient the entire time, helped me work through the issues I had, and made me feel safe and comfortable underwater very quickly. What I appreciated most was how attentive and supportive he was without ever making me feel pressured. He explained everything clearly, gave me the time I needed, and made sure I could actually enjoy the dive instead of just getting through it. On top of that, he’s also a genuinely kind and easy-going person, which made the whole experience even better. It was really nice talking to him and feeling so well taken care of. I cant recommend Luigi enough. Over the four dives we did, he was always professional, friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable.On top of this Luigi offered some insights into whats life is like in Maltaz. He picked me up from my accommodation and dropped me back afterwards, which made everything incredibly easy. He also offers dives for individuals or very small groups, giving you a much more tailored and relaxed experience compared to some larger dive centres that gather big groups before each dive. Um El Faroud was an absolutely stunning wreck, and if you have the appropriate qualifications, I highly recommend diving it. Overall, an excellent experience that I’d happily do again.
